Who We Are

We are a gathering of sinners, who by God's sovereign grace, have been brought into the glorious life and light of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have been made a part of His One glorious catholic and apostolic Church. It is through His Church that the Lord Jesus Christ is pleased to make Himself known [1 Timothy 3:15; 1 Peter 2:5] in the earth today.

With the greatest of joy, we confess that the Resurrected and Ascended Jesus Christ has been made both Lord and Christ [Acts 2:36]. These two titles have lost much of their original meaning, the way a first-century man would have heard and understood them. To put it simply, both declare that Jesus is the True KING, the True RULER of all men and nations. As the Apostle Paul declares, the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords. (1 Timothy 6:15).

NOTE: We do not make Him Lord or King by "accepting" Him into our lives. It is God the Father who has MADE HIM both Lord and Christ, and this was done at His Resurrection/Ascension. He IS Lord and NOW sits at the right hand of God ruling and will do so until all His enemies are made a footstool for His feet, Acts 2:35.

It is to HIM that ALL men owe their allegiance.
It is before HIM that all men will stand in the great day of judgment and give an answer for their lives [Acts 10:42; Acts 17:31; Romans 2:16; 2 Corinthians 5:10].

Therefore, we call all men, all political rulers and all who are in authority [1 Timothy 2:2], to acknowledge and confess the Lord Jesus Christ as the true ruler of all nations and men; to show discernment and take warning from this revealed truth, and to do homage to HIM. As Psalm 2:12 declares, "Do homage to the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!"
